Of all the photographs that I have taken, I like this best. The man was standing on the edge of a large concrete drain that rudely jutted out into the sea. He was fishing and had just called it a day. I wondered what he was thinking as he stood there looking out into the sea. The white bucket held his catch for the day as well as his fishing net. This was taken at Gurney Drive, a very popular seafront promenade in Penang that my parents used to take me to when I was just a little boy.

This is the magnificient statue of the Buddha at Chin Swee Temple. The temple perched on the mountainside halfway between Gohtong Jaya and Genting Highlands Resorts. Looking at the terrain, I can appreciate the hardship that the builders encountered in putting up the structures. It was cloudy throughout the time we were there, hence the white background.
