Miniskirt in winter at Takahatafudo Station.
January 2006. Takahatafudo Station, Hino-shi, Japan. It had snowed in Tokyo the week before – the first time in a couple of years. Temperature in the evenings were usually subzero. When the wind blew, the chill penetrated right to the bones even though I had four layers of clothing on. My nose bled. My ears froze. There were frostbites on my hands. I had removed the gloves to take some pictures. It was impossible to press the shutter button wearing them. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this young woman waiting at the train station in her winter jacket, miniskirt and boots. Miniskirt in that freezing cold? I was thoroughly impressed.
wow!! It is so cold and that girl is still wearing a mini skirt??!! She must feel very ‘hot’..lol..
Peter:
That kind of heat surely can melt snow in winter.
Perhaps she was wearing skin hugging pants.
Peter:
Perhaps, but I was shivering even under those layers.
Whoa! Wearing a mini-skirt in the middle of Tokyo’s cold winter? She must be used to the cold weather or she wouldn’t wear that.
Peter:
I came across many other women in miniskirts that time. I felt a little embarassed all wrapped up like a Christmas present.
aiya, they all ai sui mai mia~anyway some some will use hot pad(Kairo)n stick in many places~boot, skirt, shirt~
Peter:
Haha. You should know, Sarah. Have you ever done that before?
Something in there probably needs cooling down some, and the best way is do it naturally! hahaha
